As a recipient of the Foundation for the Contemporary Arts Scholarship, Alyssa Forstmann earned her BFA at Boston University’s College of Fine Arts with a minor in Film and Television Production from the College of Communications. Her interests include old cameras, music appreciation, hiking, hula hooping, and painting in her studio, which is housed in a renovated dairy barn. Alyssa also works as a gallery assistant and archivist at Eckert Fine Art in New York.
She is currently investigating her love of film by producing short films with contacts she made during a summer of internships in Los Angeles, where she now lives.
