JAN KWEK
Jan Kwek is from the city-state of Singapore. She moved to Boston to earn her BS in Business Administration from Boston University’s School of Management with a minor in Visual Arts from the College of Fine Arts. Jan’s home country of Singapore has contributed to her strong sense of community and giving back. In 2011, when the tsunami struck Japan, the world wanted to help but didn’t know how. Jan initiated a fundraiser for the cause. She designed and printed 4000 notebooks using her own savings, with designs dedicated to Japan. Her efforts raised $10,400, which were donated to the tsunami victims. In her free time, Jan loves to paint, exercise, and imagine the endless possibilities of life.
