MASSIEL GRULLON
Massiel Grullon earned her BFA in Painting from Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, MA in 2014. She paints portraits of people that she finds fascinating and has had her work featured at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.
For the Chair Project Massiel was inspired by the graffiti artist Marka27, who taught her to use lace fabric as a stencil. Sometimes Massiel uses this stencil technique as a background for her portraits.
She likes to use bold/soft colors, and black/white for a contrast graphic look. Massiel is an alumna of Artists For Humanity where she was commissioned for various projects. Around Boston, Massiel is known for her unique and eye catching style.
